I have a 1997 Tracer, just recently replaced the EGR Sensor and the O2 sensor in response to the "Check Engine Light", a scan indicated these items were bad. The light is now out, but now EVERY time I hit a bump, the engine dies. I still have an electrical connection as all the indicators are still lit and the radio continues to play, I can restart the engine and continue until the next bump. Also, if I close the hood hard, the engine dies, so I tried hitting the car with a 4 pound hammer to the right or left of the raidiator, again, the engine dies. It I hit the strut tower with the hammer, nothing happens, only when I hit to the right or left of the raidiator. Anyone have any ideas?
