I have been told that a 2002 MGM LSE is a rare find. Anyone know if that is true? Would $5800 for a 2002 lse with 87000 miles be a good buy? one owner, excellet condition

Hi, I just bought one. It was a high mileage (180,000) with a bad engine, frozen. The 4.6 is a good engine, I do not know why this one froze. Pulled the plugs and put a big cheater bar on it, won't budge. OK, new engine. I am thinking about putting in a 2005 Ford Police Intercepter engine in it (only 33,000 miles). I think it is a good swap and it has 10 more HP with a redesigned air box assy, otherwise the same. I hope. Any experts out there? Please let me know if this will work. I found a 2002 police intercepter with 93,000. Less money. I would like to go with the 2005. A couple more $100's.
The MGM LSE model is cool. Leather bucket seats with console, dual exhaust, higher rear end ratio, 235 HP and a few more things. For a big car, it should move out fairly well. I got mine for about $1500 and plan to spend maybe $2000 to fix it up. Cool car for $3500.
