2006 Mercury Milan vs 2006 Ford Fusion -- help me pick!?

I have settled on buying either a 2006 Mercury Milan OR a 2006 Ford Fusion. I prefer the appearance of the Milan's TAIL, but love the GRILL of the Fusion. Alas, life's huge dilemmas. Anyway, I'd like input about which car is the better choice, and why. Thanks!

I'd go for whatever the best deal you can get. But I think color makes a lot of difference.
If you're looking at depreciation, I'd go for the Mercury.

Both nice, although the milan has more standard equipment and the LEd taillights make it a more refined look. Cant go wrong with either.

As a Fusion owner, I know they are basically the same car. Personally, I think the Fusion looks better, front and back, on the outside.

Again, while basically the same car, they do have different styling as you've noticed. I'd say, if you can't really find anything that would make you want to buy the Milan over the Fusion, buy the Fusion. It's cheaper.

So far I'm very pleased with my V6 Fusion. I have yet to find even the smallest flaw mechanically or in fit and finish. Be warned though, the EPA mileage on the V6 is woefully optimistic. Several V6 owners are reporting mileage more like 15 city, 25 highway in real world driving. My own average is betwen 18 and 90 for mixed driving.

I have a Ford Fusion and love it. I get all kinds of looks in this car. I suggest going with the leather option as the cloth seats attract alot of lint. Unless you have a great car detailer. Good luck!
