I have a 2003 Mountaineer that has the following: when the key is placed in the ignition, it begins a warning beep, the driver door is closed, but I get a door ajar message, the dome lights stay on for about 10-15 minutes after I get out and lock, the driver door lock/unlock button works intermittently, and when I press the remote lock button twice, instead of the normal one beep, it beeps twice. This is about the third time I've had this issue. The other times I opened/closed doors and pressed the reset button on the dash until it corrected. This time its lasting longer (several days). All of these symptons are related because they started all at the same time. Have not yet tried disconnecting the battery cable to see if it "resets". Anyone else dealt with this?
