If you can find a schematic for a falcon or a mustang they are pretty similar. There are two wires that attach to the turn signal cam under the steering wheel. It sounds like one of them is broken. Also check for power at the stoplight switch on top of the brake pedal or possibly threaded into the master cylinder on a '65. Hope this helps.

Check ebay or amazon, but it sounds like there is something wrong in the wiring harness going to the back of the car. Follow it from the fuse block inside the engine compartment.

You can get an online manual at: www.alldata.com/diy just enter the model and make, year, etc. You will find all the electrical schematics.
Sounds like your turn signal switch harness has a short or a short either in the brake pedal switch. If nothing here check the bulbs to see if they're shorting to anything back in the tailights.
