in 1971 Mercury painted there Capri's with a green do you know the paint code?

i was told it is a paint code #6 I have had that code mixed up and it looks to dark. if you know of another paint code PLEASE Help out a poor fellow out! also they sprayed it in 1973

Look up the code on the cars data plate drivers doo, decode in the cars repair manual.then look it up- paint in a can will alway be darker than old paint.They sell the old paint samples on the card. swapmeets ebay
