my headlights wont go down on my 1992 mercury Capri?

i just want to know if there is a way to fix this problem with out buying new motors.

The headlights are operated by vaccuum. Check the lines for blockages.

Check the connections at the healights, check the fuses. Maybe get a test light and test the sockets for power getting to them. MOst of the time it is a bad wire connection thats all.

Run a twin wire from your battery to each morot plug, probably 3 wires when you get there . 1 is a common or earth, 2nd is for up , 3rd is for down.If you can manually work them its the switch. Even easier is to connect the wires behind the switch and this will run the whole circuit for you.Have spare fuses when you try all this , your bound to go through a few.Doesnt sound serious
