it came on shortly after an oil change, i took it back and they claim it was nothing on their end. about 500 miles later it went off, another 500 miles and it came back on...now, i could be driving at a steady speed for 10 minutes and i feel a hesitation! What is going on??? I don't have the money to run all kinds of tests, yet I still have a loan left to pay for, so I don't need a car that doesn't work!! Any suggestions??

check to see if your gas cap is staying tight or go to an auto parts store have them scan it for you see what they say

Take it to Autozone and have them run the diagnostic codes. It's free and they also have free troubleshooting and DIY information. Somehow, I feel that it's one of the sensors. If you find the bad one, you can replace it yourself.

Running all kinds of tests will run around a hundred dollars. I would suggest taking the vehicle to a reputable repair facility and paying the diagnostic fee. There are alot of vehicles that come into my shop where the owner still owes money and they pay the diag fee.
