drive train whining

i have a 99 Grand Marquis i bought used 8 mths ago with 99000 miles on it, it now has 111000 and its a beautiful car i love it. recently i have been noticeing a whining underneath like tire noise you can hear it at lower speeds especially when coming to a stop but not after it does it when braking or not in gear and out and with the engine off and letting roll to a stop its the same when steering side to side fluids are up at last oil change servicing and i don't have any leaks i have never had anything this new and not sure what i'm getting into can anyone enlighten me
