Default Replacing the catalytic converter on a 2006 mercury mountaineer 4.6 v8

As the title states I have a 2006 mercury mountaineer 4.6 v8 vehicle, that I purchased a Maganflow Direct Fit Cat for. This is my first rodeo when it comes to working on exhaust, so I am just looking for a little direction when it comes to the best way to get started on this. Does anyone have a guide, or know of the replacement bolt parts I should get for this type of work? Or just know about any gotcha's ?
